Our Story
Working Towards a Brighter Future, Inc. was created to provide compassionate, professional, and accessible mental health and substance use counseling for people navigating life’s most difficult moments. We understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you are carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, family stress, substance use concerns, grief, anger, or uncertainty about the future.
Our goal is to meet each client with respect, clinical skill, and genuine care. We provide a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples, families, children, teens, and adults can feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward healing and growth.
We serve clients across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Texas through in-person care and secure telehealth, depending on clinical fit and provider licensure. Our office is located in Maplewood, New Jersey.
Our Experience & Training
Our team includes licensed mental health professionals with experience supporting clients through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, relational, and substance use concerns. We provide care for individuals, families, couples, youth, and groups using evidence-informed approaches that are tailored to each client’s needs.
Our clinicians support clients with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, substance use, relationship stress, family conflict, school challenges, emotional regulation, and major life transitions. We also provide clinical assessments and evaluations to help guide treatment planning and next steps.

Our Philosophy
