A clinical assessment is a structured review of a person’s mental health, emotional functioning, substance use concerns, life stressors, safety needs, and support systems. Depending on the situation, an evaluation may include clinical interviews, screening tools, history review, treatment recommendations, and referrals when needed.
Your provider will ask questions about your current concerns, background, symptoms, strengths, goals, and support needs. The assessment is collaborative and respectful. After the evaluation, we discuss impressions, recommendations, and possible next steps so you understand your options for care.
Our team provides thoughtful, trauma-informed assessments grounded in mental health and substance use counseling experience.
